The second new craft term I learned this week is FELTIDERMY. A nifty word morph from felt and taxidermy. Feltidermy is stuffed animal heads attached to a woodden backboard. They are made to decorate walls just like their authentic archetypes but in a more fuzzy humoristic childlike way. There are not many people doing this. Actually the only one I could find was Girl Savage. She has a blog, Flickr gallery and she sells her craft on Etsy. Quite original work.
