Just a few days ago I wrote about using material samples for your trashion crafts and sewing projects. I feel this is definately a DIY trend of this moment! This wood panel dress is designed by LCF graduate Ada Zanditon. Ada, who has worked with both Alexander McQueen and Gareth Pugh, was also awarded the Prize for Creativity at the Ethical Fashion Show in Paris in October 2008. If you feel that covering the entire bodice with material samples is a bit too much for everyday wear, cover just a smaller area like the collar, shoulder (just one or both) or hem.
