The inspiring Mr. Castro
One of my top five collections for next fall is this one from Jose Castro. He had loads of beautiful cuts and forms, but the DIY potential is definately in creating surfaces and details from different sized leather circles. I bought last weekend a woollen vintage LBD (19 euro) from a thrift store and an ugly black leather jacket (1 euro) that will be cut up. Let´s see if I´m able to recreate Castro´s look for 20 euro trashion style. I also loved the model´s haircuts in the runway show...

beautiful idea! burberry prorsum had a similar idea with a coat, with scales in different shades of brown, in their a/w-collection 08/09.
