Chainmail is not for historical dress up enthusiasts anymore. Asger Juel Larsen brought Middle Ages to modern times in his gaduating collection of metal knitwear. It must weigh tons (comfort factor varies per user) but looks super chic. Like six inch candy heels for women.
If making authentic chainmail is out of your league, the trashion version is to make it from drinking can pull-tabs.
