Stacie of Stars For Streetlights made herself two Fendi inspired dresses decorated with roses sewn from fabric strips. I don´t know if she ever read my post on Fendi roses but the dress turned out beautiful! I knew this technique would work. Make it in darker, more festive colors and you´ve got a killer look for upcoming Xmass and New Years parties! To get the best frayed edge to the fabric strips, they should be ripped. If you´re using jersey or knitwear, then cut the strips. Just remember to keep your material color pallette in max. 3 shades and you´ll get the 3D look on the roses. See her tutorial on Cut Out And Keep craft community.
