Hip badass 90s skater girl

"Hip badass 90s skater girl". Well there´s an adjective monster.. But it also describes Devyn´s style well. She is a photographer working with Nasty Gal (check out their vintage dept.) and I love the way she dresses. She combines secondhand effortlessly. "Inspired by old school streetwear, vintage photos of b-boys, and ’70s skater culture, she never fails to show up to the studio in mindblowingly awesome outfits and has one of the most unique styles of anyone we know. Which is saying a lot. Her motto: It’s not really what you wear, but how you wear it." Love it. “I love hunting for the perfect vintage tees to take home and cut up! Eco fashion in Finland - Sanna Rinne

I have never introduced Finnish eco designers to you so it´s about time! As you know there a re many ways a designer can create an ecological collection: organic materials, recycled materials, zero-waste, locally produced, just to name a few.. Sanna Rinne is the first designer on my list. She uses industrial left-over materials (both locally and foreign sourced) in her Offcut-collection. The knits are made from merino wool, dresses and tops cotton-viscose mix ja jackets cotton-polyester mix. She has developed her own type of sewing machine and technique for sewing small fabric strips!! All production is done from Turku, where she is based. You can find her collection in Helsinki from Limbo.

My inspiration tumblr

I love Tumblr photo and inspiration blogs. I just started my own inspiration tumblr to collect all the wonderful images I find online and to share them with you. This inspiration photo blog is not 100% DIY or fashion, it´s about anything I find beautiful on inspirational.

Presentation is everything

Tabloid magazines and tv shops love "before and after" images. Recycle fashions can benefit much from this type of photography as it demonstrates very clearly the potential in "ugly" things that can be transformed to beauty. Shannon & South does it just the way it should.
